A powerful aid in warding off evil spirits. Vervain is also a great aid of divination, trances, dream magic and creating love spells, and used in making Van Van Oil.

Verbena hastata is native to North America and is similar in looks and qualities to its European cousin Verbena officinalis. It grows rampant and wild in the Great Plains and can be found on prairies, in meadows, and open woodlands.
